Annuitants Club

I am a volunteer coordinator of the "Annuitants Club" (AC)

AC is a social club set up for seniors. The club activities, to name a few, include: field trips to the herbal garden, checking out the new Punggol Park, trips to the neighboring countries, educational talks on health, senior empowerment, learning new handicrafts, honing skills in photographing ... the list goes on.

During the course of activities, new friends are made, inter generation relations tips & grand-parenting tips are shared. Bonds between friends grew.

Most importantly, it is FUN, FUN, FUN.

Our club went to the 20th World Orchid Show today.

The tickets booking, purchase (at a deep discount) liaison with the organizer for guides, registration of members who wanted to attend ... was done by Ms Christina Wong

While Mr. Charles Koh helped with the purchase of snacks & drinks.  It was quite a feat as the whole lot was V-E-R-Y   heavy.

I alway enjoy working with NTUC AC especially Charles and Christina the Botanic Gardens photography outing on Sep 2010 gave me a good opportunity to interact with fellow members,some of the members photos are good compositions and skills can be put for exhibitions.Looking foward conducting more talk/outing with NTUC AC. William
